Summer Programs

Kids come to the Banyan in the summer to cool off and have fun for several weeks of day camp programming! Activities include daily physical activity along with participating in the public library reading program, math and science activities and art.  Field trips out of the neighborhood to water parks, museums, and the zoo are planned as well.  Elementary youth also have the opportunity to attend Honey Rock Camp in Wisconsin for a week.  Honey Rock is an overnight camp where many of them experience outdoor activities like canoeing, horseback riding, and roasting marshmallows around a campfire for the first time.
