Graduation season is upon us. On May 1st (decision day) the Banyan youth made commitments to their futures.
In the fall, this class of youth will be on the campuses of Bethel University, Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minneapolis Community & Technical College, Augsburg College, Loyola University, and the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities!
The four year high school graduation rate in Minneapolis is 47% (and drops to 36% for African American youth and 34% for Latino youth). But at Banyan, 100% of our youth graduate AND go on to college.
